Day 1: Welcome at Lisbon airport. Transfer to your hotel. Before dinner, we’ll take a evening walk through Lisbon.
Day 2: Day dedicated to the city of Lisbon. Let’s start with a orientation walk on Belem area, where we will taste one of the most famous Portuguese sweets and visit some of the most emblematic monuments of the capital. Free time at the afternoon . At night, dinner at a Fado house, followed by a show to enjoy this musical style, globally recognized (optional).
Day 3: Explore the city through photography, with a cultural experience (optional). During the morning we will visit the downtown, discovering some of the most iconic places in the city while learning to how to shoot. The afternoon will be in one of the newest areas of the city, where was held the World Exposition of 1998. A place of many attractions, including a visit to Lisbon Oceanarium, which inspired the movie Finding Nemo (optional).
Day 4: Free time in Lisbon to roam the streets and avenues and pick up some souvenirs.
Day 5: On this day, we will discover the south of Lisbon: the Setúbal Peninsula. We start by visiting the village of Palmela, where we’ll take a stroll through the historic center. Then we will discover the centennial art of making tiles where you can give free rein to your inspiration and make your own tile (optional). To recover, nothing better than a visit to one of the best wine producers in the region, where we will taste the Muscatel wine. For the sweet tooth, do not miss a delicious dessert – pies of Azeitão. After lunch, we will make a walk through the historic center of Setubal and a boat ride on the River Sado (optional). With some luck, we may see some members of the colony of dolphins inhabiting the river. The late afternoon will be in Arrábida, with unique landscapes on the immensity of the ocean and the perfect place to watch the sunset.
Day 6: Day to explore the western region: Obidos, Batalha, Alcobaca and Fatima. The first stop is in the medieval town of Obidos, with a walk through the village, enjoying a unique environment that takes us to another century. Here, you must taste one of its most typical products: the cherry liqueur with roasted sausage, bread and cheese (optional). Next we have Batalha, a small village with a monastery classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. Inspired by the Gothic style, was begun to be built in the XII century and is one of the seven wonders of Portugal. Then Alcobaça, visiting the historic center and its monastery. Finally, returning to Lisbon, a passage through the Sanctuary of Fatima, place of worship and pilgrimage for millions of visitors every year.
Day 7: Day to explore Estoril, Cascais and Sintra. We leave early in the morning for the Estoril area, where we will stroll along the coast. Then, lunch in a typical restaurant in Cascais where we will taste some regional dishes. After lunch, we go to the beautiful town of Sintra, a place full of magic and romance. We will have a short walk through the village, with visits to some monuments. After lunch, we head to the fishing village of Ericeira, ending the day with a magnificent seafood dinner (optional), which will mark the end of the trip.
Day 8: Check out at the hotel and departure to the airport of Lisbon. We hope you will take a bit of Portugal in your heart. As for us, we love to be your host in Portugal!
